Can anyone suggest a good upgrade for the front brake?

The answer depends on numerous factors. If you are running stock calipers, braided steel lines, decent pads and a Brembo radial MC from a late model Yamaha R6 (16x18) would be a good start. If you want better yet, consider changing your calipers to Nissins as used on the F4/929/954/600 etc..... along with an appropriately sized MC...... Many possible combos, all light years ahead of the stock set-up
