The Twins
The Twins
Hi all,
I signed up a couple of years back, and considering I've just bought a Firestorm, it's about time I said hello. I know Kev and knew Martin (Benny) from NWB, and probably saw many of you at the funeral.
Current bikes:
A fairly tidy '98 storm:
And a very tidy '02 SP-1:
Both about 13k miles.
The two together:
The SP-1 is for sunny weekends (and just looking at!). The Firestorm is for everything else. It's the second Firestorm I've owned (the first was the later model), and I'd forgotten how much fun they can be. I've also had another SP-1 and an SP-2 before. So no stranger to VTRs. This is the first time I've owned a Firestorm and an SP at the same time. They compliment each other very nicely

Re: The Twins
hello and welcome alex, a nice pair of vtr's you have there, have a look in the rideout section, and meet up with some of your new fellow forum member...
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: The Twins
It's difficult. The SP eclipses the Firestorm for speed and handling, but requires commitment and isn't much fun in the wet. The Firestorm is much more versatile and is still sporty enough to have some fun. So it depends how I feel, what the weather is like, and where I'm going.lloydie wrote:Very nice but how do you choose
Thanks all for the welcome I'll try to make some rides.
