id have knocked half that stuff of the stands too being a clumsy sod.

I was paranoid to say the least.... i'm not exactly small or nimble... tip toeing in between all the bits certainly kept the concentration levels up

I like the way you've done the tail section and seat hump cover thing
I also like the way you are going to do your tank and fairing decals, class although I suppose they are not going to be called decals anymore

The decals.. or atleast the painted versions.... really wished I could of done them now before bike is built.. At the moment the top yoke looks a bit over the top in orange... hopefully once the orange wings go on the tank it will look ok. Will sort wings out plus 'firestorm' on the side fairings in a few weeks time, will also add some orange to the belly pan at same time.

Starting to go in the right direction now... been doing a bit of polishing over past couple days, haven't gone to mad, wanted to give the chrome and alloys a bit of shine but wasn't going to spends days on end doing it.... more than happy with end results, far better than before. Bit of refitting... front fairings are all built up, did put them on for a quick try but have left them off now because I still got clutch to do.Besides exhaust which i will sort out tomorrow... well later today now, the rear end is all on. The undertray was a pain to fit and I think it's a tad wonky.. have had a quick look and it doesn't seem like i'm going to be able to do much with it, think i'll have to just set the number plate in the right spot to take the eye off it.

Had thought about black frame but I do like a bit of shiny here and there as long as it's not to much. That's why I covered the exhaust cans and didn't polish the front part of frame.. trying to get a balance between light and dark sides

I think polished swing arms look nice and tbh the polishing wasn't anywhere near as hard as I thought it would be... my swing arm looks ok but is far from brilliant, I could of done with a couple more grades of paper and maybe a polish wheel attached to a drill... as it was I just made best with what I had... still, doesn't look bad at all and came up easy enough. I'm pleased with it

Another step closer.. although have given myself a bit of a problem, snapped one of the bolts when fitting my dics Mad rush to get replacement in time for Thursdays MOT.

looking good shaun, just a suggestion, the brake calipers would look better in black, the gold doesn't seem right against an orange wheel, black calipers would look pukka.
and finally a wavy rear disc to match the front. all just my opinions of course, I bet you can't wait for it to be finished...

Both are future mods mate was hoping to have had calipers painted while sorting bike out but have simply run out of time for now... first chance I get they will painted black and will paint the lettering in in orange. Want a disc.. but that will be when money allows... may go for a 'Blackshadow' for the rear to save a few £££'s
