Flywheel nut clockwise or anticlockwise to undo ?

Hi there can anyone tell me which way the flywheel bolt undoes ? Is it right or left hand thread ? Thanks .

but it is bloody tight so you need a rattle gun [electric or air] to get it off. I broke a 1x1 section of wood in the back wheel spokes trying to stop the engine turning with just a breaker bar.

Yeah ive got a gun and ive got it off thanks , what about the flywheel puller , ive screwed the 22mm piece in then do i just screw the smaller nut in ?

Dunno about the smaller nut, usually you just screw in a bolt in the centre and keep screwing (rattle gun is good, scaffold bar works fine) until the flywheel is disturbed form its seat on the crankshaft taper. Mind you don't lose the Woodruff key.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Thread the larger part of the puller into the flywheel and stick the gun on the smaller bolt through the middle and it will pop the flywheel right off. :thumbup:

Thanks alot for the help , ive just lightened my flywheel to rogers specs and refitted it , its all running and the engine seems more sprightly and it sounds a little quieter for some reason , just got to test ride it now and see how awesome it is :)
