my 98 storm possibly for sale!

Post by dansrockin »

hi all, just testing the water really to see if theres any interest.
Im not really using the bike, and there are lots of things that the money could go towards, so thought id try and move the bike on to someone who can give it the use it deserves!!
Its a 1998 storm in red (the fastest colour :D ) in fairly good condition for the age. Its got 25k on the clock, has a belly pan and hugger fitted, krieger manual ccts and uprated reg/rec, renegade hi level exhausts, good tyres, plenty of life left in the chain and sprockets. The mot runs out at the end of nov, taxed til the end of this month.
There are no mechanical issues on the bike, one or two minor scuffs on the bodywork, but in general it is in good condition all over.
Its got two keys and an immobiliser fitted.
Looking for £1500 ono.
I am in Banbury, but can deliver within 50 miles for fuel costs.

Hose reel...Check.

Flower pot ...Check.

Garden Chairs...Check.

Bins...at last I can check that as well. You should of had the bins in the first Pic. You know the rules. We waited far to long to see them ! A bonus point for the spade, shovel & forks though.

GLWS.

Thanks for all the comments, I'm still not sure what the attraction is on here for wheelie bins!
I actually had a buyer lined up for the bike, he saw my other ad on eBay within an hour of it going on, supposed to have been coming today, even paid a deposit. Got a call at 1155 (supposed to have been here at 12) saying he couldn't get the bike and wasn't going to be coming. So I have retained the deposit, and stuck it back on eBay.
If anyone off here is interested, and will be a genuine buyer, I'll let it go for the £1300 he was going to pay.
Cheers
Dan

''I'm still not sure what the attraction is on here for wheelie bins! ''

It's not an attraction. It's the fact that you* take a pic of your bike in the hope of attracting a sale, you clean it make it look nice & then take no heed of what's in the background. Wheelie bins ? It's a bit rubbish init... Blame Wicky he's the one that brought it up in the first place !

* Not having a pop at you BTW it's something a lot of people do...It's become a bit of a joke on here.

I've done it but made a point of moving a bin or two into shot just to please Wicky...
