They all all trying to recoup some of the money they lost with all the claims from the bad weather over the winter storms.

When I queried the 25% increase, I did suggest, was the increase was due to the poor people being flooded out, although strangely enough I couldn't get a definite answer on that. Also apparently there was a program on TV a while back (I didn't see it myself) saying insurance companies were increasing their premiums due to fraudulent claims

My way of thinking is, I'm getting older, the bike is getting older so the price should be coming down, not going up :problem: .................................................................Of course we know that never happens,

Insurance is a con why should we pay for all the fraudulent whiplash claims. They should either investigate these things more thoroughly and realise when a car driven by eastern Europeans has slammed on the brakes on purpose to make the car behind crash into them. Or better still treat everyone on an individual case by case basis. IMO they dish out claims and write off vehicles way too easily.

My bike insurance went up £20 last time

I whole heartedly agree with you on that Carl. It's the genuine law abiding citizens who get collared for the rest unfortunately

Talking about the premium increase, mine usually goes up each year around the £10 to £15 mark, so you can see why I was not impressed by a £38 increase this year.
