Why I Hate Insurance Companies

Been in this new house for about a month now and just finally got around to getting my insurance details changed.

First off, bike. Went from the middle of town with the bike parked outside to very rural with the bike now garaged. Result - no change in premium but a Â£20 charge to change my address

Next, the car. Went from middle of town and parked on the road to rural and now parked off road. Result - premium goes up by Â£23

My post code has gone from KA5 to KA4 so I'm now in a higher risk area they say?? IM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BLOODY COUNTRY SURROUNDED BY FIELDS OF COWS. What do they think is gonna happen? I'm gonna get robbed by a gang of sheep?

No wonder folk complain about insurance companies, Bloody liberty i tell you .

the 20 quid charge mate is admin fees...costs them a lot to print another sheet of a4!!

Try getting insurance with a G post code!!!!!

I'm from that place with the G post code, I moved down this way to get things a bit cheaper.

The postcode is just that - it's for delivering letters. Just because the lazy b*stards at the insurance companies can't be arsed to do their research they use someone elses completely irrelevant system. Wonder what they did before postcodes - had to actually assess the risk???
