Thanks lloydie, I shall have a further ferret, I always 'winter' my bike at a mates in Hartshill, as I don't have a garage. if I strip it would you check the cam timing with me / for me? Do you like amber nectar?

Bloody hell, I called it and some other bugger gets the free drink.

Right, that's it, your engine is now out 371 degrees.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hi AMCQ & all, I fitted that new rear cct with the stopper mod last weekend when I had nothing to do, all sorted and thanks for everything :thumbup:

well done….. honest, I hadn't forgotten

so no more rattles? I assume you put the same spacer in that was in the old one?

Hi again, yep no more rattles, quiet as a mouse and I used the same stopper bit that you supplied me, I just took my time and done it the same way that you showed me :D

Malc,
Just checking that you took the metal dome off the old CCT and fitted it to the new one, as they don't come with them fitted.

Hi, sos for delay, yep I did put the metal end bit on the new cct, all done :D
