GRP hugger and light tint DB screen

Post by budd »

Couple more bits for sale,
first a light tint DB screen, not sure what make it is but it’s not one of those cheap and nasty Chinese/Hong Kong jobs, it’s proper thickness high impact acrylic with black edge trim and fits well, I’ve pictured it next to a OE item as a comparison, obviously it’s not new so there’s a few light scuffs/scratches etc but nothing serious and I’m pretty sure with a bit of effort in the polishing dept it would come up like new. £15 collected - £20 delivered

Next a rear hugger, jell coated GRP, originally finished in bright red but refinished in black 2K base and clear coat, it bonds to the underside of the chain guard and bolts to the O/S of the swing arm using the rear brake pipe clip mounts. Pics show it with and without the chain guard, to fit simply remove the chain guard clean the inside thoroughly and then bond it on with some PU sealant (Sikaflex or similar) allow to cure then bolt on using the chain guard and rear brake pipe clip bolts, when fitted it looks nearly OE and is less bulky than some I’ve seen.

It’s showing a bit of chipping around the top edge and some slight wear around the brake pipe mounting holes but with a little bit of a touch up or better still a new coat of paint it will be tip top,

plus it to clears a 180/60 rear tyre (just) again looking for £15 collected - £20 delivered.

PS pictured chain guard not included :D
I've now gone all European and bought a KTM Superduke GT and Aprilia RSV1000R :D ,
Storm is now gone  .
