Hello from newby to this forum
Hi my name is Chris and I live in keighley, West Yorkshire. (United Kingdom) and I own the vtr firestorm, it's a 2003 53 plate in blue currently.
Now this is not my first vtr I have had two previous ones before my current one. Now I bought my current bike on the 5th nov 2014 for £1000 and on the 12th nov I was involved in an accident late at night on my way home from visiting family, the accident was due to a road defect and has caused a lot of fairing damage to my vtr. And need lots of help and advice from all you lovely people.
After my accident I was asked if I was ok locals and family who come to help me and my response was I don't care about me what about my bike, I stood there and cried my heart and sole crash damaged. After getting my father to pick the bike up we took it back to my dads garage to asses the damage which is costly but not a lot of work to be done thanks to my crash bungs. I then started the engine and she cracked straight up. So I knew she would like again, I will continue my story with pics of bike before accident to how it is now and how I'm going to transform my vtr back to good health in another thread.
Anyhow I would like to say hello to everyone on this forum and look forward to talking to all you fellow bikers ;-)

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
