Unfortunately Muppet last logged on to the site in may 2012, so I doubt you'll get an answer buddy, I like to think his bike was so fast it turned into a time machine....CruxGNZ wrote:Muppet, I know it's been a few years, but just curious if anything ever happened with the bike? Best E.T.? Mph?

It's been a few years, but it was worth a shot.
I think that 2x4 he used as the kickstand was hollowed out and had a flux capacitor inside.

Re: vtr1000 dragbike project
I met him at the Bulldog Bash a few years back and watched him race- the bugger beat my tuned one with his fairly standard one, fitted with a 6" over SA, and lock-up rear shock strut.
It goes to show, the clutch lock-up grab problem isn't a problem if you stretch the SA so that you can dump the clutch and it won't pop up and try to throw you off the back. It just spun up a bit, gripped and went.
But I want mine to be rideable round corners as well, so that's not an option.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I own this bike now. Will be rebuilding it over the winter and running it at sprints next year.

It was four years back right enough but just wondered hiw this would work on the storm. ....muppet wrote:No turbo for me may put a 25 bhp wet nitrous on a bit later, and in answer to bsm im running an airbox with no filter, still using a lightly modded snorkle with extra air inlet on top of airbox as the petrol tank is just a dummy shell so i have a lot of space above the airbox. may work may not
