Well done Kaz,
We're all looking forward to a much quieter forum now without the "I hate my Mille, I want my yellow baby back" phrase included in EVERY thread!!
Penske - nice job there, they're £550ish worth of quality shock
First job you need to do is set the static sag correct on it.
Once that's done you'll have a fair idea if its in the right ballpark but what you're looking for with the front & rear is that when you bounce on the seat the front and back compress roughly the same amount and at the same sort of speed
If you're still not happy and think its not right it'll cost you about £150 to get it resprung and serviced at the same time.
Speak to Roger on 07970 915259 for your options and then send it to Penske direct with a covering letter from Roger (he has contacts there and gets what he asks for!!)
Forks - I think its a safe bet that if the owner has splashed the cash on a fancy fandango shock they'll have done the forks too. If the preload is right out on standard springs you'll be able to bottom them out by blowing on them. Again, set the static sag up first and this'll give you a good indication as to whats in 'em
Lowers - get rid. They are the ugly ones that look strange. Go for a moriwaki copy in black/carbon coz it'll cost the same as a new Honda one (£130 last time I asked!!

Steering damper - how much ru looking for for it? Don't want you to short-change yourself but if its silly cheap I'd be interested. What style is it (across the yokes or side mount) and have yu got a pic of it?
