And there was me thinking I was going to have to build a garage have room to work I'll just copy you lot

ive had my butt kicked over the years for various spray jobs etc, it don't matter how much you try you will end up with the smell and dust all over the house. My worst was i left a can to warm up on a radiator to take the chill off to do some spraying in the car port. i forget it and we went out.
3 hrs later and we had a lime green speckled wall, hall,carpet and stairs, it was smelling fumes for weeks.

Decided to paint my frame satin black (with heat resistant paint)


Think I need heat resistant laquer before I hit the road though as the paint doesn't get hot enough to cure
Another little experiment of mine, doomed to fail !!!
Looks ok though.
Note the xmas wrapping paper used for masking purposes !!

just make sure you use a matt or satin lacquer.....

Looks canny Kev, but I'd invest in changing that standard reg/rec for at least a finned one before you have an electrical melt down

Make sure the lacquer you use is fuel resistant too as any little dribble at the pumps will put all that hard work to shame

Gave it a bloody good clean!

Considering I've been down to Gloucester the other week (with the m5 in shite condition, salt everywhere.. It blocked my headlight and made seeing through the visor difficult without scraping it off every 15 minutes)..


And down to Monnington this past weekend gone, using the m5 again and loads of proper farmer roads.. one cards width tracks, mud everywhere and blind corners...


I don't think I've too badly here! Granted I cleaned it after each one, and this was purely a clean for the sake of cleaning..

There's a 'funny' story behind that...

Go back way to yester-then when I was with Emma. I went to go collect her and go on a ride with CK and his wife, for some reason the seat cowl had been glued to the seat (that was fun to take off, not realising). Ripped off part of the seat with it and it's missing the rear locking-connector-ey thing. I'd never removed my seat cowl before so there's no chance of finding the rear locking-connector-ey thing (this was also while I lived in Rugby, so it's definitely gone). Haven't got round to fitting it, I don't need it anyway. I give one of my housemates a lift everywhere when she requires one, so I'd only be taking it off constantly

Tyres are beaut, I discovered their one fault last weekend though.. 190 profile tyres and steep hills (>15%) is a bloody bad combination, especially when there's a junction on that hill (wombles you, cinderford)! Other than that, flawless.

Today I finally got around to something I've been meaning to do since the end of November, fit 2 long stacks into the airbox. Only when I got round to doing it, I had to call Lloyd to check something (isn't he such a nice guy?) and then changed my mind and thought I'd try 2 short stacks, what's the worst that could happen? I can always try 2 longs if I don't like it, and then even go back to standard if I don't like that. Didn't take me all that long to do so I'm not really fussed.


I'm also still annoyed at Honda for when they switched the vacuum to be on the frame, utter pain in the butt to get the tank off And getting it back on was no more fun either!
