It must be going well if you have had to fit a wheelie bar.lloydie wrote:Started to fit up the race seat unit
Can't get it any higher or more angled with the standard sub frame and I can't be arsed making a new one this winter .
I want it to be quick release so I'm thinking about chopping up a tatty old seat base and using that attached to the inside of the race seat . This should still keep it light but strong too .
I also want it to be quick and easy to swap back to road fairings and not worry about relocating the electrics so I plan on mounting them all on the inside of the sub frame in a little box out the way

He doesn't need any seat padding. He has it built inJamoi wrote:looking good mate, that's about the same angle as my setup. Don't forget you'll have 20 - 30mm of stiff foam pad on top which will raise your ass a bit.
I think it's possible to go TOO high with the seat and you loose that connection with the bike.
I was thinking that it looks a bit big but it should look smaller when he sits on it.He doesn't need any seat padding. He has it built in![]()
New bike ownership niggles to sort out, that's all. You would have that with any bike.Remind me of why I love big twins..
