Hi , I'm changing my chain n sprockets , wandering do I need specialist tools for this job

Sprocket tool?
Re: Sprocket tool?
No real special tools required. Large socket for rear spindle - Torque wrench.
Remember to tie back the clutch lever before removing the sprocket cover - and make sure the chain is securely riveted into an endless chain. The old chain can be removed in one piece (or you can use and angle grinder or chain tool to break the chain) by removing the footpeg hanger first and the new endless chain slipped in. Old screwdriver or wood to lock the drive sprocket so it can be undone. And torque everything back up to spec.
Here's an old illustrated thread on the job > http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 31&t=16500

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
