Guys I have read the whole of Hawk's thread several times, it's just the mentioning of shimming both needles, and his method of removing the front washer, that sounded like two different options. My heads been all over the place, been thinking about everything else to do on the bike as well. :wtf:
Work has been mental and every spare minute is spent trying to sort the bike. I don't even know why I want it back in one piece with all the snow today!

Anyway, understood, and thanks for the advice on the jets Carl, I'll see if I can get in touch with Allens.

Sorry if I've come across as a twit (well that's not what I wrote but I'll take the autocorrect...) thanks guys.

You need to find 2 x 1mm shims. Remove the stock shim from the front needle and replace it with one of the 1mm shims. Remove the rear needle and ADD the second 1mm shim leaving the stock shim in place. Make sure you have the correct needle in the correct carb...they're different.

Hope this helps
