Pro's are that it keeps more heat in so more fuel is converted into vapour so theoretically more efficient. Cons, if not done correctly you will trap moisture under the wrapping causing excessive corrosion. Pro's, looks good, Cons, looks shite.

and when you take it on track you'll wear through it on the front downpipe ;) Personally I think it looks crap and messy, ceramic coating would work better and look neater, for the performance gains it's not worth it, you won't feel the difference.

A thought though is you could wrap the rear downpipe where it passes the shock, this could protect the shock from some heat, as it's only the rear downpipe won't look as crap as a full system covered in the stuff

i have rear pipe wrapped. Keep heat away from shock, thigs, and engine probably.

downside is corrosion, but I will try to apply some heat resistant paint under the wrap.

ive been thinking about wraping my rear pipe.just done my swing arm bearings and linkages.the heat definitely dryes the closest ones out faster.it must have a big effect on the shock to.even the swing arm gets hot after a fast run.try holding it after a good run out.its quite suprising how much heat builds up.
