has anyone got a picture of what position the gear selector rod thingy is set at, I know it's personal choice, but I need a general idea.
atm it's set at the 5 o'clock position, if that makes sense.....

By ''5 o/c position I'm assuming you mean the actuator arm attached to the G/Box spline...

Cant be arsed to go out & check mine now...but I think the important thing is to get as near as poss a 90* angle between the rod & the actuator bit. This helps in making it a less clunky gear change.

Pedal hight you adjust via the rod.

If your pedal is at 5 o/c then you must have very strange ankles... :confused

Try it at 13.35 hrs & see if it makes a difference...then every hours for the next 12 hours until your happy if not give up & try a jelly or yoghurt...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

There's a centre punched indentation on the end of the spline to help align things. Usually this is aligned with the centre of the clamp. Move it one spline IIRC to the right of this for a shorter shift.
