Post by hellfire »

Hello guy's I'm new around here so I got my bike for about 5 years
Some issues came along like battery and it starts hard and I don't know why :confused
I did change the battery and the after 2 years it runs out like from the + came some sulf :eek2
I did my carburetors clean and synchronized
I did change the sparks
I did my compression and by the tell of my mechanic its all good
I did clean the connector under the rubber of my starter
I don't know where to go
Any ideas are wellcomed

Check the R/R. Have you got the original unfinned R/R

did clean the connector under the rubber of my starter
Also checke the starter switch and the live feed from the battery to stater solenoid.

And see the Read Me for New Members below. Welcome

The first photo is your bikes finned rectifier/voltage regulator. The next two photo's are of a de-restrictor. Take a look here:-

By the way, welcome aboard

I have a 12v 14amp in mine

You will find the battery is slightly higher so the top cover doesn't fit

Other than that its ok
