Carb differences

Post by popkat »

Anyone know of any differences between early model and F2 carbs ?, I don't know of any but never looked at either together to know for sure, possibly putting F2 carbs on a standard 98 bike.

Cheers.

They are all the same  (except for the pilot jet change)

Don't forget the small pipe on the front carb where the PAIR connects. This will require capping off if an early Storm or PAIR removal.

You can see the one I am talking about (you probably remember now anyway  ) in darkembers pic here. Front right carb. Cut this shorter if needs be and cap off.

Got the carbs today, thanks Marty  No need to cap off the pipe, just swapped it for the one off the old set that doesn't have a T piece and takeoff, took but a few seconds :) Now to build hopefully a good pair from what I've got.
