Airbox Mods

Post by kev64 »

I just done the Burnie Morgan airbox mod ( )
As it was free and easy to do, dont make any difference (but i might do the mod on my new air filter !)
Any airbox mods that in your opinion have made a difference?

PS ive read some of the archives on this matter, just wanted an update

Thanks

I just wish people would do back-to-back dyno runs so that you could work with data instead of guesswork and seat of the pants guesswork.

It would be nice to know what works and what doesn't.
I did that and found that and posted the results, proving that one mod lost me .5 Bhp.

Trouble is; something that sounds "better" isn't always better- same with rorty zorsts.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I suppose any mod should be tested with a dyno run, ive only done small (and free)
mods so far, probably down to about 80 bhp like the blue storms

never done a dyno run before so maybe before I go too far, I should do !

My FIL modded bike is going on the Dyno soon. Its more expensive than drugs here so saving up for it.
