Thinking about getting a narrow band O2 meter. Small Koso unit. Then have mounts welded on all our bikes so I can tune each one. Range is 12.1-16.8.
As Im having some issues on the VTR Im thinking this is a good idea.
Anybody used one?
Narrow Band O2 meter? Worth it?
Re: Narrow Band O2 meter? Worth it?
Going by a quote of yours below, it could be worth it for you.
Chris.
Tony Mon is the only person I can think of off the top of my head who has done this. You''ll need two Lambda sensors though, which will mean two meters I'm guessingNZSpokes wrote:
My FIL modded bike is going on the Dyno soon. Its more expensive than drugs here so saving up for it.

You can get them now that can switch between the cylinders but they are obviously more expensive. You also get wireless ones too that can work with an app on your mobile phone.which will mean two meters I'm guessing
Definitely worth IMO as it will save you a fortune in dyno time.

Yep, and if you fit ram air it will give you a better result than a dyno, unless they have 120mph+ fans....
I posted up a thread about it a while back, quite cheap, too.
And it gives you something to look at when bored between gear changes.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
