Headlight relay kits

Post by flak monkey »

Just made up a dual relay cable for Kermit, and I've got the parts to make another 5 of them if anyone is interested?

I'm a professional engineer, and have a lot of experience of vehicle electrics, from simple stuff like this to full EFI builds and installs.

These are made with automotive grade thinwall cable, crimped and soldered. Inline 15amp fuse at the battery connection. And dual 20amp micro relays.

Long lead to the battery is 1.6m, long enough to run alongside the stock wiring loom. Leads from relays are 160mm. Allowing the relays to be fixed behind the clocks.

My headlight on my Bandit is set to have both filaments on when on high beam. Could this handle that?

I instruct a bit at nights and need a good headlight on the Bandit. Was thinking of doing this myself but im rubbish at it.

Postage to New Zealand would cost a bit I guess.
