Wednesday Update - mancave progress

Started off with this three weeks ago, two full days preserving the outside:

Laid the floor along with a damproof membrain and 30mm insulation:

Friday just gone, insulation was delivered, then installed over the weekend:

Started cladding the walls Monday:

UPDATE back wall completed Monday

UPDATED Now tuesday and on my third pack of 36 boards, and the back wall is now complete, starting on the one of the side walls.

Got wednesday off, have a family party to attend, but will be back on it Thursday.

to do:
finish off 2 ends and front wall wih cladding
bead and cove to finish off cladding
lay laminate flooring weekend
final fit of internal wiring
armor cable to the house
workshop storage and working surface
move tools and Firestorm in

nice work there Bazza but you missed......... fit TV. laptop and fridge............ and camp bed for when the wife kicks u out for spending too much time in the new shed:D

sofa and table is going in one end, DAB radio with bluetooth connectivity ready to go in. I also have a dehumidifire and oil filled radiator to go in as well. Might get a kettle in there for when visitiors come over and work on their bikes :)

Don't forget to run your 240V behind the boards for that pro look :thumbup:

purchased from Dunster House I never constructed it, i'm just fitting it out to make it functional for the bikes.

all cables running up the batterns, and sits flush with the insulation. All the light wiring is in, at hte same time as first fit of the 240 wiring.

Have 5 doubles sockets, 3 down the long wall, and 2 higher up at one end to come above the work bench.

Im gonna start my "Hectors House" project this autumn

Bought if from Dunster House, it has upgraded roof(19mm) with insulation, upgraded floor(19mm) with insulation, 28mm thick walls, double glazed and upgraded roof to shingle tiles.

very weel built for the price, my old man has one and recommended them, a few years on, here I am a propoer man cave..

Looks fantastic, must be costing a tidy packet that insulation is not cheap. The Storm will be very happy to live there :)

One of reasons for getting a proper mancave, is to have more bikes than storm. Didn't have the space before, I will now. Will be on the look out next year for another to keep the storm company and to take it off the road to some major work on her, she needs it.
