Bike safe

Post by roger64 »

After a 14 year brake from biking I booked myself onto a bike safe course in Aberystwyth on Saturday spent the morning doing theory which was not to bad as it was pissing it down then the afternoon out on the roads needed to wake the old grey matter up a bit definitely an improvement ( good constructive criticism ). But I can see it would not suit all being followed around by a copper and I did get told of for a dodgy overtake took it on the chin though

P.s am I the only one with teal mirrors ?
A little bird told me that Honda only ran teal on VTR for one year and they nearly went broke so they reverted back to the cheap flat PAINTS :Argue 1:

Did a bikesafe course last April in Birmingham, I'd still recommend it to anyone and everyone

I done it it four years ago, after returning to a bike
Had a break of some twenty odd years and my bike prior to the storm was a gt200 x5
So booked on a course at Glenrothes and it was a great day, learnt quite a lot I think

I followed some out today around the Wetwang/Driffield area, made me chuckle when a cheeky chappy coming the opposite way to the bikesafe copper and co promptly hoisted a monster wheelie on I think Gxr1000 then waved as he passed - :Worship:
