Just fitted front Honda pads to my transalp and to confuse matters each pair comes with only one shim that is fitted to the back of the 'fixed' pad - only two pistons on one side of the caliper and the pad that is pushed doesn't have a shim fitted.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
