Sorted it. The front left indicator went on it anyway so they had to be replaced. Just grabbed an oxford set with the longest stalks I could find. Slightly rounder than the last ones too. It had to be done considering the garage that helped me to get it roadworthy again, completely forgot about the connection and pulled the new connectors I installed off the bike and knackered the indicators. I replaced these ones with proper bullet connectors, so that they are secure but will disconnect easily. annoyingly they forgot to install all of the new engine bolts I bought for the job and thought my fuel was bad after I filled it up to the brim and added redex. They thought it was a funny colour and ditched it. After I donated my remus cans and a few other bits to em. Rather complacent I thought. Ah well.
However, due to the way the indicators are mounted on the front of the bike they only just reached far enough to poke out of the fairing. It really is a good job I bought long stalked ones.
Strangely the guy who fit the last set cut the indicators out of the mounts. Used the original mounting rubber surrounds and glued the new indicator into place so that the fittings sat flush with the bodywork (as it was the stock indicator base) he glued the stock rubber surround around the base of the new indicators and put them back on the bike. Very odd but I can see why. (the gap from the mounting point, to the point where the hole in outer fairing is, is quite large.
