Staring issues

Post by Damo73a »

Morning Lads
Haven't been on here for yonks, hope everyone is well.
Right then went for ride last night, great no probs.
Went to start bike this morning and bike turns over no probs but not firing. Checked all fuses all ok. Checked all connections all ok. Battery has plenty of umph in it. Reg/rec was replaced quite a while ago. Mottobat battery.
Removed front spark plug connected ht lead and turned over, NO SPARK! Grrrrr
Am I right in thinking that the ignition module could be faulty?
Forgot to mention have had sidestand switch off cleaned and checked. All ok.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm proper pissed off, cars in getting fixed and the sun is shinning.
Sods freaking law hey!
Cheers
