I really do love my Superhawk/Fire Storm. It is nothing but fun to ride but it is not as versatile as my Interceptor. The Interceptor is set up with raised bars, Sargent's seat and foot pegs that are lowered an inch. This is an all day comfort bike for sport touring. The Fire Storm is more uncomfortable, hurts my back, gives me leg cramps and is actually more fun to ride until you run out of gas. The Storm gets 26 MPH with it's peanut tank that's about 120 miles from brim full to bone dry. The Interceptor, by contrast gets 46 MPH with a range of over 220 miles. If I didn't plan to do any more trips the Storm would be my bike of choice. It's all a moot point for now.

I will be stripping my Norton down for frame paint in the next couple of weeks. At that point I will only have the two bike because I don't count bikes, that are in bins on the shelf, as real bikes.

The term "fast" is relative because I can't ride either one to its potential. The Storm just gets to my chicken out point faster and with more authority. The VFR is smoother and since it is the 5th generation Interceptor, It has the lovely valve train gear whine. Just different bikes for different things.

I have replaced all the old bulbs in the dash for the LED ones. What a difference :)
I have drilled my standard exhausts even more. They are properly loud now :)
It is time for a
