Bigger tank

Im sure this has been asked before,but i'm useless at finding things on here !!!'

What needs to be done to fit the bigger tank to the earlier storm

If you can find one a later model 19lt tank can be made to fit, IIRC fule tap & sender nedd to be swapped.

VFR tank can be made to fit as in the link above...

For big bucks & if you can find one Harris did a 24 lt tank.

Or buy a different bike that is better on fuel & or has a bigger tank...simples

sender doesn't need swapping, you just need to bend the early model sender so it gives an accurate reading. but you will need to do other things like the late model fuel spigot and new fuel lines including a Y or T shaped connection to separate the lines to each carb.
