Re: Front end upgrade

The correct calipers have turned up before the not right ones and I only brought them at 1430 yesterday  :biggrin

So today will see the finish of the fork service and the service of the calipers and a dry fit of everything. Build everything up on the forks to make sure it's all the right size ect and then get it fitted to the bike at some point. I'm more excited over this than I am the "C" word that's around already!!!!!

Well here it is. The dry fit to make sure it's all the right size and goes together :)

looks great so far but will be better when it's on the bike

Nice!
You might need longer brake lines though
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

It'll be fine as long as it has some slack on maximum extension.

It's just as well lloyd hasn't been on a diet. Had to get him to sit his butt on the rear subframe to get the front end off the floor to swap it over.

And he got a fried breakfast out of it too

It's done :biggrin

All bleed up, everything refitted and tightened up. I just can't take it for a test as still no gear after the crash :(

Only thing missing is front mudguard which will come next year when I get the new bodywork :)

Damned thing is it won't be me that gets to test ride it :(
