Clutch cover removal

Post by ned58 »

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me is it easy to remove and replace the clutch cover ,as mine has been damaged when the bike got knocked over.
I imagine you need to drain oil and coolant for starters, any help appreciated
Thanks Ned

If it hasn't been holed and just scraped simply bung a carbonadi carbon fibre cover on as extra protection.

The fun part when taking off the clutch cover is finding the lever points at the back & front. Use a new gasket after cleaning the old one off throughly and grease one side of the gasket to aid in any future removal.

you will need to drain water out but if the bikes on the side stand you dont need to drain the oil as it sits down in the sump.

There are two colours, the earlier grey graphite and later sort of yellowy bronze
