Having pushed the stanchions up through the yokes a fair bit to get those clipons on, watch out for reduced ground clearance and headshaking. You might need a steering damper. If you have a shock spacer fitted it probably needs to come out.

cheers tony. i left the forks the same when i fitted the vfr bars and yes iv a spacer in the rear. it does get a little excited if i hit a bump mid corner but hard to say whats causing it atm because the rear shock is so dam hard even on its softest setting..

not storm related but the wee divvy i bought a year ago for £300 has brought me to work nearly every day and never let me down . and its a bonus cause when you get back on the storm it feels like a new bike every time

Be warned you will also need a blackbird lever as they are different due to the hi speeds the bird can do :-)

it seems with these bikes its a never ending story of wants lol..iv always been a bike whore and would change them at the drop of a hat but this is the longest iv ever kept one.. no intention of shifting this old girl on. .

cant change colour it would only slow it down lol..im actually hoping during the summer to pick another one up and start making a track bike outa it.

lol cheers pete... next on the list as of yesterday. iv just landed a new fairing of a kinda member on here because mines been cut badly for the top yoke conversion thats no longer on it...

Complete pain in the Richard but spent the day changing the rusty subframe for a powder coated one and giving the electrics a twice over, one of those jobs you stand back and , cant really see what all the work was about.

Don't do it ! You'll end up robbing bits off one to keep the other one going .
