Thread contains a yellow storm
Re: Thread contains a yellow storm
Having pushed the stanchions up through the yokes a fair bit to get those clipons on, watch out for reduced ground clearance and headshaking. You might need a steering damper. If you have a shock spacer fitted it probably needs to come out.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

cheers tony. i left the forks the same when i fitted the vfr bars and yes iv a spacer in the rear. it does get a little excited if i hit a bump mid corner but hard to say whats causing it atm because the rear shock is so dam hard even on its softest setting..tony.mon wrote:Having pushed the stanchions up through the yokes a fair bit to get those clipons on, watch out for reduced ground clearance and headshaking. Be warned you will also need a blackbird lever as they are different due to the hi speeds the bird can do :-)agentpineapple wrote:just me being ocd, but get yourself a matching clutch master cylinder, a superblackbrd one does the job and they're cheap.....

Complete pain in the Richard but spent the day changing the rusty subframe for a powder coated one and giving the electrics a twice over, one of those jobs you stand back and , cant really see what all the work was about.
