Boots... NOW FREE....NOW CLAIMED !

Post by MacV2 »

YES FREE TO A GOOD HOME ! COVER THE POSAGE & THEY CAN BE YOURS

As I treated myself to some new boots today I have these for sale.

£40 posted*

Berik 'Race GP-X ' Size Euro 44 which is a UK 9.5.

They are an OK boot fit wise comfy to walk around in & have minimal wear on the sole, just a slight amount of wear on the heel.

Image

Hard shin & calf protection, replaceable toe & heel sliders.

Image

They do have some cracking on both boots in the upper foot area, poss due to me not treating them after getting very wet & thats the area that flexes when your toe on pegs. The cracking is ONLY the top layer of coloured leather it does not go all the way through tho I doubt it will be very water resistant but then the boots are not waterproof anyway.

Might do someone for trackday wear or a cheap pair if your boots have passed their best.

Right If there that good why are they being replaced ? I hear you ask...Well the issues I have with these are...

1/When I have me leather trews on the extra leather bunches up when inside the boot & is A/uncomfortable B/ the zip on the boot wont fully close.

2/If I wear the trews legs out side the boot, as is the fashion these days, the boots are too wide & the trews leg zip wont fully close...

So there you have it not perfect by any means but a lot of life left in them all zips, velcro & screws are fine & loads of meat on the soles. IIRC I bought these about 2 1/2 years ago...they do NOT smell BTW if anything they still have a slight wiff of new shoe/shoeshop about them !

£40 posted* to you fine forum members... NOW FREE JUST COVER THE POSTAGE!

* UK mainland only, N.I. Ireland , Highlands & Islands may require extra postage cost .

They are not knackered, just that crappy leather peeling off. The rest of the boot is fine... :Tongue1:

Have a look through the Padgetts sale items in the E Bay link. These are very restrained and sophisticated compared to some of the Diadora 80's ones they are flogging.
This is the end of the news!!!!
