disk mounting bolts

took my disks off and discovered a previous bodger has been at work.one retaining bolt on each disk was basicly held in with loads of thread lock no thread at all.any ideas on a solution gents cheers :thumbup:

For a disc mounting bolt I would helicoil for the most strength.

i was thinking of just going for a fresh wheel.you can pick them up cheep enough.and i dont like taking chances with brakes.helicoil etc would have to be perfectly lined up.

I've got a helicoil kit if you want to try it..

And some second hand disk mounting bolts.

one of my brake calibre bolts is heli coiled after I stripped the thread.
an engineer that I know done it.
don`t think he would of done it if he didn`t trust it.

ok thanks to ian,my wheel is now sound big thanks :thumbup: i have decided to try a pair of black shadow discs from south wales as a cure for my vibes.i will try and get some picks up when they arive and i get them fitted.im all for helping out small home companys so should be worth a try...
