It's winter here in Montreal and so that means modding season. Tired of constantly worrying about the status of the oval steering neck in my bike's frame, I picked up a replacement frame and had it reinforced (slightly; combined with the HARC-Pro replica brace, it should firm things up nicely) and powdercoated (with help, as always, from my trusty and well connected bud Jack Flash). Thought I would share some pics of said frame with you.
Bike is currently in the process of being put back together. I must say I really like the looks of the black frame (will give it a real "sleeper-esque" look)
Why didn't you get the rears boxed in and the extra brace at the front? Like the moriwaki frames , if I was going to all that trouble I would of gone the extra mile .
I recently stripped the storm right down so quite a bit of the bike can be powder coated eggshell black (basically satin)
I love seeing the black frames. This one looks pretty good.
Not sure exactly how much benefit there is in the reinforcements aside from what has been stated but perhaps it makes a big difference.

Looks good mate!
thanks. As for the reinforcements, I can't see them hurting anyhow....
