Vtr 100 Anniversary model 2008 .Number 26 .
Anyone advise on front forks rebuild .
Just had new 021 fitted and black gloss powder coat wheels .Now for the front end .
In your experience do the forks respond to fitting of progressive springs and build ? What oil to use / weight etc
I have been told that progressive springs are too hard for the road and the air gap only needs to be adjusted .
I only intend to use it on the road but the existing forks were a bit soft .
Anyone had any experience with the above or recommend anyone that will do the rebuild etc ?
cheers Hogglepig

I've been using rodgered forks for a few years now, extremely happy with them, massive improvement over standard. as it's been said, not cheap but well worth the money imho....

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

The standard vtr has a soft front end ,progressive springs i think
From what i'm told linear spring is easier to get set up, also more race orientated as opposed to pro's
You need to get springs to suit your weight ,
as said by the men already you could try http://www.revolutionuk.co.uk/
or if you want to do them yourself he can also supply you with the proper spring and some back up info
100 Anniversary model you must have the only one made

If Roger forks work on ap bike with him on it ,it says wonders for the job that Roger does to them .
Ap might be on the larger side but boy can he ride (and fly) fast .

Unless you ride like an Alien, get linear springs for your weight (in bike gear) k-tech are fine at about £150 including oil etc
Easy to fit yourself and do the internal mods
Here's a link to show the mods
Makes a big difference

tbh if it wasn't for the rodgered forks (and the ohlins rear shock) I wouldn't be able to ride as quickly as I do, although there are many forum members which leave me for dead when it comes to riding fast....
