Skim heads to increase compression?

Post by NZSpokes »

Am I able to skim the heads to increase comp? rather than buying JP pistons.

Would be a good time to do a little port work and cams if I can find them.

Ignore me, just realised I asked this a while back. getting old....

Yeah I think it was .5mm to get 10 to 1 and 1mm to get 10.6 to 1.

Will be a winter project. Dont worry we are not soft, we ride through our winters.

But I have a Bandit 12 as well. I use that during winter.

Waiting for a motor our heads to come up for sale so if the skim wrecks the heads its not the end of the world.
