Sequence: Front or rear suspension upgrade?

Hi all. Ok (apols, belly has some wine it it) got made redundant on Monday, possible opportunity already (yay), with redundancy packaging due either April OR in 6-12 months time...
and I want to use some cash to upgrade/improve my stock 98 Storm.

So - if I could only do ONE suspension upgrade now (with other in 6/12 months time) - which should I do first for this year's fun:
Get front Rodgered
Or fit a Nitron (or Maxton) rear??? (which appear to be flavours of choice for budget-concious peeps like me)


Bike is well looked after, so normal soft front and ok rear, so neither screaming out for change....

Yeah forks first, though in hindsight I would have pulled the forks 5mm through before hand and ridden it for a bit before having the work done. Just to get a better understanding of how each change affects the feel.

Anyway, I'm still on the standard rear and it feels fine. I do plan on buying one at some pointas it will be good to see the difference, and I really want a hydraulic preload adjuster...
