There's not much hope for children with ignorant rude parents!grumpyfrog wrote:I spend most of my Sunday mornings coaching junior rugby for the local club, current age group 8-10's.
So we were playing another local group where unfortunately one of their young lads suffered a broken leg.
All the coaches got stuck in to make sure that the lad was well looked after when we waited on the ambulance and keeping the rest occupied. After the lad was taken away we were discussing about carrying on with the game when this other dad comes over ranting and blinding about how dirty we are and deliberately set out to hurt the opposition. WTF. Probably the cleanest game I have seen in ages with all the kids showing great gamesmanship.
So this dad grabs his kid and storms of sagging everyone off. Rest of us restart the game and all good.
What really pissed me off was this kid was crying his eyes out as he's ordered about by a tw@ of a dad.
It's hard enough to get kids into sport without parents screwing it up.

Ringing in my right ear , all wombles day !
I've been slowly loosing my hearing in that ear and every loud sharp sound gave me a clicking sound in my ear with a little pain too .
Think it's time to book an appointment to see the quack !

Re: What's annoyed you today??
If the quack says they need unblocking...find someone local who does 'Hopi Ear Candle' treatment...It's very ''New Age'' & will probably be an ex hippy eco mentalist who does it...but it does work !lloydie wrote:Ringing in my right ear , all ferking day !

I had some issues with 'dull' hearing in me left ear & It finally came to a head when I just had this constant 'rushing' noise in that lug hole, sounded like I was underwater but only in that ear...

I found a local ear candle guru IIRC it was £15 per treatment & that was for both ears...When finished she had cut open the base of the candle & showed me the lump of waxy crap that had come out !...
BTW they arnt really candles more like a wax paper tube which when lit burns down but atcs like a chimney so it draws the wax out...Stange sensation but very relaxing & it does work wonders...You wont get it on prescription, they will probably give you ear drops been there, done that, didn't work...

Had a bit of road rage today with loads of BMW / merc car drivers overtaking me ( in me lil Skoda ) on blind bends and crest of hills just so they can get stuck behind the 40 tonner 1/4 of a mile further up the road ! Tossers!!

Automatic camera?
Police defend revenue raised from road traffic offences > http://www.lmlaw.co.uk/police-defend-re ... -offences/
Soaring speed awareness courses paying for new cameras > http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/new ... meras.html
Just all eat & drink (fill your pockets with) all the coffee and biccies they provide to help break even...

one of those folk sitting in the back of a van with camera poking out of the back.
about 100 mtrs past the centre of the village, a wide road with a grass verge but still a 30 limit
.
I do avoid the 3 points and this is 12 quid cheaper than the fine . no need to mention it to the nice people at the insurance company

Re: What's annoyed you today??
Seems Suffolk are showing no mercy for blue storms as the usual criteria would be be 35 in a 30 before taking any action
Seems different regions have different criteria as when I did my speed awareness course (38 in a 30) there were folk who'd been caught in different counties but elected to have taken the SA course closer to home - There was someone caught for 32 in a 30 as well as boy racer 50odd in a 30...
Speed limit: 30 mph
ACPO* charging threshold: 35 mph
Summons: 50 mph
http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/p_to_r/road ... ces/#speedThe Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) has issued speed enforcement policy guidance, which suggests that enforcement will normally occur when a driver exceeds the speed limit by a particular margin. This is normally 10 per cent over the speed limit plus 2 mph. It also sets guidelines for when it would not be appropriate to issue a fixed penalty notice but to issue a summons instead (see below). Note that these are guidelines and that a police officer has discretion to act outside of them providing he acts fairly, consistently and proportionately.

Re: What's annoyed you today??
Fitted Stomp grips and just standing up from fitting the second one (with sore fingers) I saw the the first one was already peeling off, due to the tank surface profile.
Strapped it in place with bundles of towel pads and as they reckon that the glue takes 72 hours to fully harden I'll leave it to cure until next weekend.
We'll see....
The Jester's Trick Bits bumstop went on nicely, though, and looks good.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
