Where can I buy full-length linear fork springs?
I don't like the idea of fiddling with spacers, if I can avoid it.

Re: Full-length fork springs
As far as I know, all straight rate springs need spacers, the full length ones are usually progressive. Spacers can be easily made from a piece of PVC pipe and hacksaw.

Re: Full-length fork springs
According to the mighty Internet: The K-Tech spring is 315 mm and the standard spring 310 mm. Is that 5 mm difference something to worry about?popkat wrote:K-Tech, I have them in mine and they drop straight in.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

no need to alter any spacers They'll be fine, I just dropped mine straight in. Changed the oil to 10wt with 140mm air gap.
Because there will be less sag than with the standard springs the front will sit a bit higher, I pulled my forks through the yokes to lower the front end by 5mm to help with this, sag is good at iirc about 27mm. I'm using 0.85kg springs. A vast improvement over the standard forks

Re: Full-length fork springs
For clarity, the standard spring has a spacer fitted from Honda, 100mm IIRC.
They can be cut down, I have lots of spares if anyone needs a pair on the workshop day at Mac's.
Hyperpro are full length and don't need a spacer.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Full-length fork springs
but if you do cut down the spacer with K tech springs you will have more than the desired sag so just pop them in and see how you go
