Honda VTR 1000 Ticking Noise

Hi all,

I've done the exhaust seals. The engine ticking is still present. It has the auto cct tensioner on still, could it need manual cct tensioner installed?

Is this a big job, can the just be unscrewed and manuals put on?

Or is this a workshop job?

Anyone near Hereford that could help me with it for a few quid?

Which ones, the downpipe copper crush gasket or the graphite header/link pipe ones?

As a matter of course it's highly recommended to do something about the OEM auto CCTs before they bite you in the elbow. Follow the various guides if you decide to either do the stopper mod or replace with manual tensioners, but don't under any circumstances just pull the old ones out as this would more than likely be like Russian roulette with the consquences for the engine timing.

It was the exhaust seal at the joints where the clips are I changed.
