R/H HANDLEBAR SWITCH GEAR

Post by redpig »

Hello all,

I think it may have a fault in the connection, the bike had a recent rr and battery replacement by the guy i bought it from and the voltage reads ok but,
I remember reading somewhere how the bike can miss and backfire similar to when the rr plays up, which it has done a couple of times, could be my imagination but does seem to run better if i switch off the lights, doesnt happen all the time only when im riding at higher speeds
I have had a few probs with the start button being dead until i jiggle the kill switch a few times, perhaps the switchgear is the problem?

Cheers John

Sounds likely, only one way to find out, replace the switchgear.
Or you could wait until it leaves you stranded beside the road somewhere, and see what the aa bloke thinks....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
