Broke my TPS :(

A few days ago i've set my TPS to 500 ohms.
Then it started stripping my carbs to check them up what needles and stuff i had.
I've put carbs back together and somehow the little plastic arm from the TPS wasnt correct in place when i tightened the side plates from the carbs.
And *snap* there it went, TPS in 3 pieces.
Tried to glue it, no avail..... tried epoxy, no avail..... even drilled a little hole to fit a screw, nope :(

I've found the TPS online in partslistings but it costs a whopping 160 euros.
I've also read on forums that TPS's arent sold seperatly, that you need to buy an entire throttlebody for only 1564 euros 8O :lol:

Are there other alternatives ?
TPS's from other bikes or even cars ?

I tried the Storm running without TPS but it pops alot then out of the exhausts and gets worse when warming up

the tps is sold separate, its listed on lings Honda website at a nice £205.so 160 euros is a bit better.

I have seen them reasonably cheap on ebay but I suppose it depends on how quick you want to get going again.

Look on ebay (euro or uk) for a cheap set of carbs to take TPS off.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I have some time because i still have to wait on my plates.
Also have some other things to do on the bike meanwhile :)

I checked ebay already, i have seen there are aftermarket ones but they all differ in rotation as i check the spring position, have no idea which one to pick...

Was up at garage and can't find the tps at the minute
Might have sold it
I would go with Tony
