It is with a heavy heart that I need to sell my Firestorm. This is due to an impending house move and needing to get as much cash together as possible. let me tell you a bit about her...

For sale my 2002 (52 plate) Honda VTR1000FY (late reg 16 litre tank model) in excellent condition. Bought by me 2 years ago as a great condition bike but as therapy to stop me going mad whilst I was off work with a long term injury. I spent all this money and time on her and have only done a couple of hundred miles since.

Front forks rebuilt by Revolution Racing with all new genuine bushes and seals, K-tech springs

Carbs ultrasonically cleaned by Harpers Ultrasonic
Extended carb vacuum tubes for easy carb balancing
New genuine air filter
Valve clearance check
Kreiga manual camchain adjusters
Cooling system disassembled cleaned
New antifreeze
Water pump rebuilt with new genuine bearing and seals
Nitron rear shock NTR R2 remote reservoir
Rear shock linkage overhauled
New Renthal Sprockets and Tsubaki Gold chain
New rear Dunlop Qualifier Tyre
GPR road legal slip-ons with removable baffles
Finned reg/rec
Powdercoated...Top yoke, Fork lowers, Clip-ons, rear subframe.
1 key fits everything.
Log book in my name.

Everything works
Suspension set up for a 13-14 stone rider (in kit)
Loads of history/paperwork and full Honda dealer service history up until I got her 2 years ago.
The bad bits... Scuffs on the tips of each mirror, main beam push button occasionally gets stuck and needs a wiggle, a couple of marks in the screen that's about it other than mild normal wear and tear on this low mileage little used gem.
12 months MOT.
