Couple of questions on the shock... what spring does it have on and whats the eye-to-eye length?

That's good to know. I'm just checking on the spring but I'm interested.StuartWags wrote:about 30mm on the seat height i hear but not checkedAMCQ46 wrote:the nitron shock is adjustable from length with the locknut on the bottom.
Stuart, did you buy it new and set for your weight?

it says this 0700X225x0950. guessing 225 is length of spring but not sure which is the stiffness though

Not to worry dude, I'm trying to find out from Nitron if it's suitable for my weight.StuartWags wrote:it says this 0700X225x0950. guessing 225 is length of spring but not sure which is the stiffness though
According to a spring weight calculator for the VTR I need something around an 1150lb/in spring. I'm assuming here the "0950" is the rate but we'll see

Re: Nitron shock, belly pan, hugger
Ok I was right about the 950 part and it being under sprung for me, but I can get it re-sprung so ummm... I'll send you a PM
The NTR R1 has 7mm of length adjustment according to Nitron.
