Just a quickie - wanted to get the front pads out for a quick look see.
Is it possible to whip them out without removing the caliper from the wheel? It looks like if you remove the retaining pin and spring they should just slide out?

Might as well remove caliper mate, it's only 2 bolts, save messing about, just remember to loosen pad retaining pin, before you remove caliper.

And these are a handy long-term replacement for the crappy flathead plug pin screws. Just use a dab of copper grease.
