no thats the strange thing, it was just at a normal link that it broke, the chain only had about 5k on it and looks in good nick, poss just a weak link in an otherwise good chain? its in the bin now.cybercarl wrote:Not good having a chain let goDid it break at the roll pin.

his pants let go cause he was in 5th gear heading towards the hairpin on a trackday. the second one was a DID xring.. no sign of wear marks on the sprockets or chain run. ita be nice to be able to find a reason but so far nothing, it was just as he went from 6th back to 5th then bang.
