Mods and changes to standard 'Storm

Post by 00treeman00 »

Just got my first 'Storm and the bike is bog standard other than hugger and double bubble.
Knowing your bikes better than I know mine, are there any mods that pretty much everyone makes to the stock bike that I should be doing too?

You're fortunate enough not to have to worry about the obvious performance upgrade, it's already BLUE.
Fender extender for the front to protect the front of the engine/down pipes. Carbonadi engine case covers are a good idea as well.
Anything else is personal choice fella. Good luck

Manual CCTs and upgraded R/R are the first two priority mods.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Straight onto the colour wars is it chaps.

CCT's should be your priority. As for the rest once you start you wont stop. Loads of options mechanically and aesthetically.

Ok thanks, luckily I've learned the hard way about the Honda R/R from my VFR days. I'll look into the CCT's.

....and for the record I like the blue... at least it's not silver

Just make everything lighter, then add power.
then make everything lighter again.

Then add more power.

after a bit, you run out of money- stop then*.

* then fix the suspension, don't tell the significant other how much it cost- if challenged, say " DO YOU WANT ME TO DIE?????????*
Same game for brake upgrades,
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
