ventura luggage system now sold

Post by agentpineapple »

I was really looking forward to using this on my bike.
but sadly because I have high level carbon fibre exhaust hanging brackets, the system won't fit. nothing to do with high level cans, just the angle of my hanging brackets. in fairness I could trim the brackets, but I can't bring myself to do it.
so this system is up for sale.
here's what's included.
luggage rails with small indicators fitted, tbh you don't need these as you can keep the standard indi's, you just attach them to the rails.
there are 3 attachment included in the sale. they're all interchangeable.
the condition is very good, the grabrail and sports rack are like new, the rails have some light marks, and the large rack shows some minor wear and tear, which isn't noticeable once luggage is fitted.
1....grabrail
2....sport rack, a small rack for luggage
3....pack rack, with this large rack you can attach a very large holdall
I will also include some new bunjee straps to attach luggage
all the fixings are included, it takes about 20 mins to fit, and the rails can be left in place as they're not that visible.
the retail price is £215 and that's without postage....http://www.ventura-bike.co.uk/products/ ... ystem.aspx
i'm asking £99 delivered within the mainland uk, I will ship abroad and the buyers cost

I use this system on my storm and its great, especially if you get the Ventura bags as shown in the photos, these can either sit on the pillion seat or out the back on the rack [or both with 2 bags zipped together] and they fit the frame so well there is no movement or risk of falling off.

never, original carbon fibre akrapovic hanger, I could cut into them but that would be in bad taste
